Secure online shopping

Mastercard SecureCode / Verified by VISA

What is Mastercard SecureCode / Verified by VISA?
It is an online security service introduced by MasterCard and VISA. It guards against unauthorized use of your payment card while you shop at online retailers.

How it works?
The Mastercard SecureCode/Verified by VISA security system is based on a secure Internet purchase password of your choice. This is a private password known only to you. It ensures additional cardholder authentication at online shops across the world.

How to use it?
Using the Mastercard SecureCode/Verified by VISA service, you can continue paying for your online purchases the usual way. The only difference is that, once you have entered your details in a purchase order, a Mastercard SecureCode/Verified by VISA window will open, prompting you to enter your SecureCode password (just like banks ask for your PIN code at an ATM). Once you enter this password, your identity will be verified and your purchase will go through within seconds.

What are the benefits?

Your personal data will not be available to the retailer receiving your payment.

The retailer never receives access to communication between you and BlueOrange!

You get an extra security mechanism for your payment card.
