Regarding Changes of the Board at Baltikums Bank

January 11, 2016

As of 11 January 2016, the bank’s Chief Risk Officer (CRO) Inga Preimane and Chief Security Officer (CSO) Ēriks Zaics have been appointed to its board.

Chief Compliance Officer Inga Mukāne is stepping down from her position on the board to carry on as the bank’s Chief Compliance Officer.

This change will enhance the bank’s system of internal control and risk management.

Chairman of the board and CEO Dmitrijs Latiševs, as well as member of the board, head of the CRD Department and Financial Markets Department Mihails Kuzņecovs will continue to serve on the board.

New board member Inga Preimane joined the Baltikums Bank team in February 2014, and has been supervising the risk control function at the bank. Inga has amassed two decades of hands-on banking experience and holds a master’s degree in economics.

Ēriks Zaics will be serving on the board at Baltikums Bank as its fourth member, having come to the bank in May 2012 as head of the External Security Department and later proving himself as Chief Security Officer. Ēriks has specialised a great deal in legal, IT, financial and security matters and holds a master’s degree in law.
